Aside from style there is a different feeling when sitting in a banana seat .A conventional seat or horn seat is very comfortable these days,if you buy a good one.The conventional seat you sit on and theres not a lot of movement in either direction .A banana seat you more or less sit in,sort of like slipping in to a bucket seat in a car.They are not more comfortable per say,its a matter of preference and style.  Banana seat cruiser bicycles like our Retro Banana Cruisers and  Retro -Ray's are very comfortable for tall and large people.Like myself a larger person the banana seat places your butt back about a foot to the rear of the bike,giving you more added legroom and comfort.Ideal for larger persons,you get a laid back feeling.
