RCB bikes are show quality, made to ride and built to last

Since January 2008 RCB has been providing quality cruiser bicycles and unique parts. Unique cruiser bicycles that stand out from the crowd from interesting colors to subtle details. We sell unique parts for bike builders that other shops do not offer. Starting in a small shop in Valley Stream New York on Long Island . After a great time promoting and cruising in the NYC area, in 2014 RCB moved to the Delaware Beach area. RCB has set up a room for product display and a bike showroom. When you are in the Rehoboth and Ocean City area please stop in and check out our latest cruiser bicycles and parts. We are by appointment only so please call first.

The Retro Cruiser Bicycles idea came about in the fall of 2007. Fred, the owner and founder is a classic car guy. He has won many awards with his car building and painting skills. Fred wanted to build some unique bikes that no one else was offering. Our biggest claim to fame is the 26" wheeled "adult size" Schwinn Sting-Ray style bicycle. Providing nostalgic reminiscence to the older generation and a really cool bike for younger folks. Another cool bike RCB builds is the "Vintage American Custom". RCBs take a vintage frame somewhere from the 1930s to the 1970s, strips it down to bare metal, powder coat it and then supply it with all new parts. What you end up with is a " new " cruiser bike with the prominence of the vintage frame.

RCB loves to put smiles on people faces, and at the same time provide exercise and good health. The cruiser bicycle market is smaller than other bicycle markets, but it has a culture all its own. The community and lifestyle that goes along with cruiser bicycles is very friendly, healthy and family orientated.

Cruiser bikes have their own culture of custom bike builders. People can express their individual tastes and talents designing their very own cruiser bikes . Family and friends gather together and help each other customize their bikes. They cruise together to sight see, get groceries and even bounce from pub to pub.

Back in the mid-70s, Fred's parents were going to buy him a new bike. Of course he wanted the very popular Sting-Ray, but that's not what he ended up with. His parents were right, it made more sense to put him on a 26 " Columbia to help with his paper route. It was yellow. One of the first things he did was install a banana seat and a sissy bar, he changed that Columbia into a banana bike. People were doing this all over the country to 26 " bikes. That modification allowed larger kids and adults a larger more comfortable ride than a 20" wheeled bike would provide.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           RCB puts a lot of passion into our bikes and they never go out the door unless we know they are right. RCB bikes are not China bikes drop-shipped from a internet supplier that doesn't really care about bikes or it's customers. RCB bikes are hand-crafted from the start. Plus we always provide support after the bike has reached its new owner.

Retro Cruiser Bicycles plans on being around for a long time and you can feel confident in doing business with us. Please read our unsolicited testimonials and if you have any questions please ask away.

Support rider owned companies and do business with people that actually live and breathe bicycles like we do.

Thank a Veteran past or present for giving us the freedom to ride bicycles. God bless the USA and our planet.
